| History Youth Care & Beyond Inc. is a non profit, 501(c)3 agency established in 1980 by Gerald Huber and has been serving clients in Omaha and surrounding communities for over 30 years. Gerald Huber's vision was to provide a quality residential living environment for developmentally disabled youth to prepare them for independent living. This goal has not changed in the 30 years that Youth Care has provided residential training services. Youth Care & Beyond Inc. is the only group home of its kind. We are the only group home who regularly serves youth with IQ's from 52-80. |

Our Vision: To Nurture Hope in the Human Spirit Our Values: We Value the Family as the Foundation to Foster Individuality, Learning, Spirituality, and Self-Sufficiency. We respond to the call of our commitment by: 1. Recognizing that each person in our program and their family is different. We provide what is needed for each specific situation. 2. Rather than take our young men and women out of the “real world”, we teach them how to live in the real world. 3. Building and restoring the hope to live as independently as possible. To achieve this mission we promise to show respect and compassion in all our endeavors, and act in integrity. |
